It’s your moment to go all in on LinkedIn.
We saw record growth in engagement and content on this platform during the pandemic. Many content creators say that the platform is changing (and it is), but that doesn’t mean you don’t have the opportunity to chisel out your space here.
As part of a recent update, LinkedIn announced that overall sessions have increased by 12% in the last period, and Social Media Today now reports 985 million members.
Many have debated and commented on the steady decline in engagements and visibility for medium to large followings. My general take is simply that more competition is entering the platform and the algorithm has to shift through more content.
After countless complaints, LinkedIn did update that they’ve alternated their algorithm to cope with this. My main takeaways: (1) center your comment strategy on your core/niche network, have meaningful conversations in Messenger, and encourage conversation in your comments. (Wait, hasn’t that always been the best strategy? ?? )
