Embracing Excellence: Reflections on NRI FT India's Workplace Culture

Hello everyone,

I am Pitamber Mondal, part of the Product department, currently serving as a Team Lead on an Australia Based project.

My journey with NRI FT India began in 2011 as an ASE, and here we are in 2024, more than a decade past. In this span, I've observed some standout qualities about our organization, which I must specify and personally feel make it a ‘Great Place To Work.’

Very Good Work Culture & Environment: NRI FT India has consistently provided a positive and conducive working environment that fosters collaboration and productivity. Allow me to share a personal experience. Having more than one 'Appointment Letter' from the same organization is indeed a testament to it being a great place to work. In Feb 2019, I ventured into another opportunity with one of the largest tech firms in India. But, as it says, sometimes you have to leave to truly appreciate what you had. I found myself missing the exceptional work culture and environment that NRIFT offers. After spending 1.5 years there, I made the decision to return, and it was then that I truly understood the value of the work culture we've cultivated here.

Personal Growth and Development: Personal growth and development are key aspects of our professional careers. The emphasis on professional development is commendable. NRI FT India actively supports employees in pursuing various certification courses/conferences, contributing to personal growth and skill enhancement. Recently, I attended the NasTech seminar 2023 with our HOD, which enriched our knowledge on various cutting-edge technologies like Deep Tech GEN AI, AI, etc. Currently, IT industries are experimenting with these technologies to incorporate them into their product development.

Rewards and Recognition for Efforts and Celebration: The culture of appreciating and celebrating efforts through rewards and recognition has been a motivating factor, making each contribution feel valued. We have various rewards and recognition programs like Shining Star, Make It Happen, Star Employee, Coach Of the Year, etc., to appreciate the contributions made by our colleagues.

Perfect Balance of Work and Life: Striking a balance between work and life is crucial, and NRI FT India has successfully created an environment that respects this equilibrium from its inception.

In conclusion, staying with an organization for over a decade is not just about the work; it's about the people, the culture, and the shared commitment to excellence. NRIFT has become more than just a workplace for me; it's a working home where I've found those factors that define a great place to work.
