How the LinkedIn Feed works?

The LinkedIn Feed has transformed greatly in recent years, reflecting major shifts in the world of work. Now, more than ever, people look to LinkedIn for insights, knowledge, and the latest news.

We’re focused on surfacing timely and relevant content and conversations to help you stay informed and grow in your career. Here are a few factors that influence what appears in your Feed:

  • Your Profile: Your experience, skills, and education help us determine your interests, and the most helpful content to you.
  • Your Network: The people and organizations you connect with or follow directly impact the content in your Feed.
  • Your Actions: When you like a post, join a conversation in the comments, or repost an article, it? helps us understand what content is helpful to you. On the flip side, when you scroll past a post, mark it as “Hide,” or indicate you don’t want to see a certain type of content, we learn from that too.

More ways to customize your feed?

  • If you come across content in your feed that isn't relevant or interesting, simply click “I don’t want to see this,” or the “X” at the top-right corner of the post. You can also unfollow specific authors to further refine your feed.
  • If you spot content that might go against our Professional Community Policies , we encourage you to report it so we can review it.?
  • We’re always working on improving feed controls! The more you use these tools, the better we can tailor your experience based on your preferences.

Have you added verification to your profile??

Whether you're job hunting or growing your network, building trust is essential to any meaningful interaction. A simple way to enhance that trust is by adding the verification badge to your LinkedIn profile. Verification signals to others that your workplace, identity or education information is authentic, increasing their confidence in engaging with you. And when you spot a badge on someone else’s profile or the jobs they post, it offers greater trust in their authenticity. This added credibility can lead to real opportunities — verified members see, on average, 66% more profile views and 46% more engagement.

It’s time to Tango

Have you mastered Queens, Pinpoint, and Crossclimb? Now it’s time to try Tango , LinkedIn’s latest daily logic game designed to exercise your mind, prepare for (or take a break from!) the workday, and stay in touch with your network.

As of this summer, 40% of those who play a game on LinkedIn each day are joining in because someone shared the game in a conversation. To maintain this momentum, we’re rolling out some new conversational features to foster camaraderie and strengthen relationships across all games on LinkedIn games:

  • Achievements: After you play, you’ll be able to unlock achievements that show you how you stack up against others.
  • Show off your game strategy: Now, the text that you share after each day’s play has much more than your score — we’ve evolved it to illustrate your actual solving path, while simultaneously avoiding spoilers. This allows you to discuss strategy, tips, and tactics with your connections — a lot more than just your score!
  • Insights and streak milestones: We heard you: you love your streak, and you want more insights. Now you’ll be able to see insights like your total # of plays, % of the time you've won, your best score, and your max streak. You’ll also unlock streak milestones on major days, like after a full month of winning.
