Just had a follow-up chat with Arelys Alvarez after meeting her at NY Code & Coffee, and had a blast getting to know her and talking about our journeys, taking initiative, imposter syndrome, working in a startup, coffee chats, and so much more!! Last year I went to my first Newark Tech Week, met Citi Medina and told him about trying to bring the Code and Coffee tech meetup to New Jersey. He told me to "bring it home" to EqualSpace Sharespace & Incubator right here in Newark. It's incredible that one year later we have built an amazing partnership, and New Jersey Code and Coffee will be having our own networking mixer, "Code and Cocktails", on 10/15 as part of this year's Newark Tech Week.
