Hey everyone! I've been reflecting on the ever-changing world of technology, especially in the realm of AI-powered tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT. As a creative professional, I'm super excited about the possibilities these tools offer but also aware of the potential disruption to the workforce. I thought I'd share some of my thoughts with you all. ??
?? ???Revolutionary AI Tools
The advancements in AI tools have been nothing short of amazing. We're at an inflection point where a whole new range of tools, like Midjourney and ChatGPT, are transforming the creative landscape. I've been experimenting with them for several months now, and I'm continually amazed by each version improvement.
?? ?? Soon, ChatGPT will offer plugin support, enabling seamless interaction with various APIs, apps, services, and databases to perform tasks on your behalf. The widespread availability of this feature will have far-reaching implications across all industries.
?? Midjourney's transition from v4 to v5 has brought incredible advancements in the quality of its renders, making them look like real, professional photographs. The upcoming Midjourney v6 update will introduce realistic text rendering with accurate typography and layout for mockups and designs of logos, websites, and product packaging, taking the creative automation to new heights.
?? It's essential to recognize that the AI-generated content we see today is only the tip of the iceberg. While you may have come across some unimpressive, bizarre, or even freakish creations from these tools circulated online, it would be shortsighted to dismiss their potential.
?? As AI-driven creativity becomes more advanced, we can expect the lines between human-made and AI-generated content to blur even further. Designers, artists, and other creatives should embrace these new possibilities, leveraging the power of AI to expand their skillsets and push the boundaries of their work.
The Good:
The Not-So-Great:
?? While I am genuinely excited about the potential for AI-driven creativity, it's crucial to address the challenges and ethical concerns surrounding AI misuse head-on. As we navigate this transformation, we must develop learning paths that guide people through the process, educate them about potential threats, and promote responsible AI use. By offering training and resources, we can empower individuals to adapt, thrive, and contribute to a safer and more ethical AI-driven landscape.
???I'm working on a video series ?? and online courses ??? that teach new tools and skills based on my learnings. By sharing my knowledge and experience, I hope to contribute to a world where imagination and creativity flourish, even as we face the challenges of AI integration.
?? ???The implications of AI-driven creativity are profound, and the capabilities of tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT are expanding at an incredible pace. Rather than underestimating what's to come, we should prepare for the exciting possibilities that lie ahead and adapt to the changing landscape to make the most of these powerful tools. So, buckle up and get ready for a thrilling ride into the future of creativity, where AI and human ingenuity will work hand in hand to achieve new heights.

1 年I'm anti ai unless ubi is passed. Jobs? I used to get as survival jobs don't exist anymore and more and more roles eliminated. Unless there is some other kind of legislation written to accord the inhumane logic of economics then they at least need to tax and perform some sort of ai social security taxation metric analysis.?
