With Verify, our editors—who are already experts in their fields and well-versed in the American Medical Association (AMA) style—can create brand-specific dictionaries, conduct rapid spell checks, and utilize AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) on client assets. The platform allows for meticulous document comparisons, whether word-for-word or even pixel-by-pixel.
So, what does this mean for our clients? While Verify may not be suitable for every editorial review, it significantly reduces the time required for specific types of reviews—transforming tasks that previously took hours into processes that can now be completed in minutes. What once needed 30 minutes might only take 10 or even 5, and those savings quickly add up.
More importantly, the accuracy provided by this digital comparison tool enhances our editorial integrity. In a future where documentation reviews are expected to be faster and more abundant, utilizing Verify places our editors at the forefront of technological innovation. While the current version of Verify doesn’t yet harness generative AI for end-user applications, the promise of future developments is exciting. Soon, our editors will have the ability to build and implement client-specific style guides seamlessly.
