Embrace Woman’s Inner Beauty with Genny Sacco-Bak

Hello, my beautiful audience, I warmly welcome you on a Beauty Talk with Falak. It will be my honour to share with you, voice and views of an amazing, beautiful and cheerful woman on my blog category “Internal Beauty!”

I had the pleasure of interviewing Mrs. Genny Sacco-Bak, owner of Genny-B Fitness Canadian Red Cross Training Partner and a Powerful Public Relations Instructor, who loves story-telling and building and help building a positive relationship with others.

On 5th August 2019, we had a great discussion through email, where she responded with lots of positive experience on the world of PR and we also discussed on how every woman should embrace her authentic real beauty, reject the notion of ideal beauty and pressure of looking “picture perfect.”

Today I would like to take my viewers through Genny’s wonderful shared journey to finding her beautiful-self. Let us begin!

Love for PR & Passion for Fitness.

When I asked Genny, what was her dream profession and how did she ended up in the world of PR. Genny said, “She always wanted to be a teacher who loves relationships, sharing motivational stories and making a difference with a touch of magic.”

Today Genny Sacco-Bak is a successful and certified PR Marketer and Communicator who loves sharing her joy with others. One of the things that Genny taught and had a major impact on me is, what she calls, “Find Your Passion!”

She said, “ It is important for everyone to find their passion in their work, because it is the ultimate strength and drive that excites and motivates a person to reach his/her dream he/she aims for.”

Two months back I was browsing for some best Zumba-Fitness instructors located in Winnipeg, Canada. Interestingly Google says, its Genny Sacco-Bak: A 59-year-old wife, mother of two children and a proud granny to her sweet grand-daughter.

When I asked her about her love for “Fitness with Genny B.” Genny said, “ She has been exercising all her life, but Latin-based dance workout is one of the best combinations of disco-fitness.”

She beautifully said, “If anyone who wants to stay fit and have fun, simply keep dancing!” Isn’t that interesting folks? Genny said, her motto behind the fitness business of Zumba is, “Ditch the Workout & Throw the Party!”

When I asked Genny why you love it (Fitness & Zumba), she quickly responded, “For an hour in a day, she likes to keep herself free and be expressive and creative in her way.” Genny lastly said, “She feels confident, energetic and stress-free with the help of Latin moves and international music.” Genny is also certified in the Yoga Fit.

 Actual-Self versus Ideal-Self.

In my opinion, feeling beautiful is the first step to live happier and more confident lives. Deciding to redefine distorted self-perception will be a big step to make a difference.

In this context when I asked Genny to describe herself, she phenomenally said, “She is energetic, enthusiastic and engaging.” The big reason behind her “Three Beautiful Es” is, her daily exercise, healthy food and commitment to work for making a difference in people’s life,” says Genny Sacco-Bak.

After she described herself, I asked her how she feels about her body. Genny concluded her feelings in one line saying that, “She wishes if she was 20 lbs thinner!”

When she said that I immediately asked her if given a chance would she like to change anything about her body? Genny said in a low tone, “She would want her belly to be smaller.” Genny said this because “Menopause has become a part of her 59-years old body.” She said people call it “Meno-Pot!”

Following this conversation, I asked her that when was the last time, she was comfortable in her skin, Genny surprisingly told me, “Almost about ten years ago!” After I read her responses, I thought of asking her the last follow up question and get the idea of her overall self-beauty perception.

I asked her, what does she think about her friend’s body to which Genny confidently said, “ My friend looks great!” When she came up with this response, I told her, “When it was so easy for her to see a beauty in her friend, why it was so difficult to see it in herself !”

Megan, an inspirational blogger and also a part of Dove’s Real Beauty Campaign said, “Happiness comes in all shapes and sizes and that what we have to remember. We can be curvy and the way we like, and it is wonderful. It is beautiful.”

When I exchanged Megan’s inspiring thought with Genny, we both discovered that “Actual splendour comes from taking time to feed one’s soul and respect one’s unique genetics and body frame.”

 Relationship with Magazine-World & Society’s Beauty Standards.

When I and Genny reconciled the bridge of inner beauty with outer beauty, I asked her about her views on the society’s blunt beauty standards for women to which Genny replied that from an early age many women are exposed to stereotype beauty statements and clichés which dictate them on how they should look and feel about themselves.

She said, “These beauty standards put too much pressure on a young woman to be something that they are not and to fit in with their friends.” Genny said, “Every woman wants to be seen for who she is on the inside and wants people to accept her with her mess and perfection.”

Building on my conversation with Genny, I asked her about the relationship which is formed with what one sees in magazines and ramps. Captivatingly Genny said, “What one sees in magazines, on T.V or the fashion ramps isn’t real. It is a world made up of filters and photoshops.”

She said, “We can’t compare ourselves to what we see around. If a woman is lacking her self-esteem and confidence, She may feel unpleasant about herself to not match with society’s definition of beautiful.”

Bolded her lines on email, “Every girl is her kind of a woman, she has her unique genetics which is best for her. “says Genny Sacco-Bak.

Link Between Self-Esteem & Body Image.

Genny believes that there is a strong link between self-esteem and body image. She said, “Every girl wishes to have smaller thighs or bigger breasts or thinner arms. But the biggest barriers between all this is we forget to love our self for what naturally we are.”

Genny again bolded her lines and said, “The worst inner-beauty-critic is, we prevent our self to reach our full beauty potential.”

Genny beautifully said, “Love the way you are. Love the way that you are strong and healthy, that you can carry a child and run up a flight of stairs.”

She again bolded her message and said, “To overcome this barrier we need to start believing that we are beautiful just the way we are. We have our glow, glamour and genetics. There is no one like us.”

Link Between Little Girls & Barbie-Disney Dolls.

Mattel the Barbie maker announced that “The doll would now come in all shapes, sizes, skin tones and hairstyles, in realistic-original body form”

Robert Best, the senior director and product designer of Barbie has explained that “The company has taken this initiative to breach the stereotype of beauty & body standards which society and media imposes on every woman.”

The company has explained this through their famous campaign, “The Evolution of Barbie” (Franco, 2016).

After reading and sharing this fact with Genny. I connected it to my conversation with her and asked that do Barbie and Disney Princess give little girls unrealistic beauty expectations.

Genny replied, “She has a beautiful and lovely granddaughter, and Genny has observed that these dolls and Disney princesses truly inspire little girls and, also the evolution of their appearances from imaginary to realistic, played a huge role behind it.”

 Beauty Comes From Within?

When I asked Genny what makes person attractive She said, “A person’s smile and sparkling eyes make him/her attractive.”

Following that question I asked her whom she finds attractive, Genny said, “Her daughter has a beautiful smile and lovely blue eyes and she is a wonderful mother of her lovely granddaughter so that goodness and beauty deep inside comes out.”

When Genny shared her phenomenal response, all that I learned from Genny is, “It is a wonderful feeling to find true beauty in the eyes of our loved ones.”

Genny cheerfully said, “She has always been complimented for her attractive smile”

“I am okay with how I look, I have earned my wrinkles and age spots and my beautiful grey hair,” says Genny Sacco-Bak.

She believes that “One can be beautiful on the outside but ugly inside, so Genny thinks that beauty has to come from within first and it will automatically reflect on one’s face.”

Genny Sacco-Bak’s Final Message: “That Made A Unique Difference!”

Genny’s favourite inner beauty quote which she follows in her life is by Coco Chanel, “Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” Genny believes that “Coco Chanel was a trailblazer for every woman and a perfect example of how a woman should lead her life as she wants, not what others want.”

Genny’s final message for all beautiful teenage girls and stunning women, out there in this stereotype society is, “Every woman should carry herself with confidence. Smile and Shine! The whole world smiles with her.”

Genny bolded her lines for the last time and said, “Every woman should own her beauty for her gaze”
