Embrace Lifelong Learning ??

As the year is coming to an end, I am finding myself reflecting on its events. I have to say it certainly was eventful.

If 2018 proved anything, it was that the world around us is changing rapidly and with that the need to change our mindset and continuously learn in order to keep up with the world is vital.

So, with this in mind in 2018 I decided to consciously embrace lifelong learning and adapt a growth mindset. Let me explain, the concept of lifelong learning is the ongoing, voluntary & self-motivated pursuit of knowledge. This means using both formal and informal learning opportunities through one’s life in order to foster continues development and improvement. 

This essentially shaped 2018 for me and honestly it has been an incredible journey. I took part in courses, programs & went to networking events. As I was learning, growing and connecting, I also found my tribe. I met incredible people with a plethora of knowledge and a passion to share it with their community.

Albert Einstein said, “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.” 

The point here is that successful people are outstanding performers. Outstanding performers are lifelong learners. Lifelong learning is really important to creating the successful life and career you want and deserve. 

So, in 2019 I challenge you to embrace lifelong learning and adapting a growth mindset. Trust me it will be fun and enlightening.
