"I was born in Karnal in 1976, raised in a joint family of Kiryana Merchants, hence business was in genes I suppose. During my college days in ‘96, ‘Karnal's Children Carnival' needed a Marketing Officer to sell sponsorships & stalls, I took the selling leap and ended up making 20,000 in a month which was great for those times. This ignited me that I was meant for sales."
After completing my B.Com, I got a job at Pfizer and shifted to Mumbai for training. Eventually, relocated to Bangalore for the next 7 years and was exposed to the Southern Markets.
In 2003, I got married, and we were fortunate to have Sehaj, our exceptional son. We as a young independent couple never heard the Term Autism, we went through a range of emotions ( Why Me?) as we accepted life with Sehaj who was diagnosed with PDD.
As parents, we eventually realized the value of embracing Sehaj's individuality and celebrating his unique perspective on comfort and love. We joined the "Autism Discussion Page" on Facebook, Special Dad, Special Mom, and Slice of Art started counseling in the Parent Support Group and spent time spreading Autism awareness in all our Interactions all of which helped us strengthen our thoughts.
I joined Medtronic as the regional head in 2008 at Delhi, traveled over 25 states & countries, and later shifted to Stryker Zonal Head when I gradually made my way into the startup sector.
In 2016, I pitched a Walmart of Medical Devices business idea to angel investors: a three-tier business strategy ( B2B, B2G, B2C ) to dominate the next-generation medical devices market, a one-stop solution to provide all medical services under one roof in South Asia.
My business, "The Max Meditech Systems", started out as a start-up in Kathmandu, and through the years, it became a big success. The company currently operates as a distribution business worth $10 million.

We experienced a number of business obstacles throughout Covid, but we successfully surmounted them. During the times of the lockdown, I began my career as a content creator on LinkedIn. I shared positive messages, the bura of my journey through my posts, and over the course of several years, gained about 19,000 followers.
At present, we live in SurajKund; my younger son Kabir has been a blessing in Sehaj's life, he's quite mature for his age, and the two siblings love being caring & playful with each other.
My wife, Harleen, has done her specialization in learning disabilities to devote her teachings to a global audience. She tutors Sikh children across continents and guides them in staying connected to their roots (Ma Boli), and runs a Punjabi Audiobook Channel with a cult following.
At present, our son Sehaj has successfully adapted to the advancing technology, excelled in IT skills & learned Photoshop. We firmly & proudly look forward to his bright future as a freelancer.
An Xtraordinary message from Gagan about accountability and ownership :
Make sure to have a clear vision, accept life's challenges with an optimistic attitude.
