As a new Harvard University student, I am proud of all my accomplishments. Achieving this milestone has eased the dreadful long nights and stressful days spent studying and preparing for this moment. I have learned that it is important to embrace the hard things you work for and celebrate your achievements without feeling like you are showing off or speaking too highly of yourself.

I found myself hesitating to mention my acceptance to Harvard University to others. I didn't want to come across as boastful or arrogant. However, after a heartfelt conversation with my partner, I realized that it is okay to be proud of myself and share my accomplishments with others. As a new law student. I hope to be a role model for what an ideal Ivy League student looks like at a prestigious university.

It can be easy to downplay our own achievements out of fear of being perceived as arrogant. However, it is important to remember that hard work deserves to be celebrated.
