??Aha! Moment
We often wish that time would stand still, especially when it comes to the little ones in our lives. I've always cherished those playful days with my nieces and nephews, secretly wishing they'd stay small and adorable forever.
But here's the twist: Over the last few weeks, I've spent time with my adult nieces and nephews as grown-ups, and boy, was it an eye-opener! We gathered, shared stories, and yes, enjoyed a few adult beverages together. The experience was nothing short of amazing.
It's incredible to see these once little kids, who I played tag with and read bedtime stories to, now all grown up, sharing their adult lives, dreams, and even discussing current world events. The joy and depth of our conversations, filled with laughter and their mature insights on global happenings, truly enriched my understanding and appreciation of their grown-up selves.
These moments made me realize the beauty of growth and change. It's a reminder that each stage of life has its unique joys and experiences. As much as we cherish the past, there's something equally beautiful about embracing the present and watching our loved ones evolve into their own.
So here's to the little ones who grow up too fast, but turn into amazing adults we get to know all over again!
1??One Thing I...
???Learned?- So, I've been diving into the world of course creation, and let me tell you, it's been quite the ride! Here's a quick rundown of the cool stuff I've picked up along the way:
1. Getting into Learner's Shoes: It's all about figuring out who's going to take your course. I've been playing detective, understanding what learners really want and how they like to learn. It's like putting together a puzzle of different learning styles.
2. Structure is Key: Turns out, how you put together your course matters just as much as what's in it. I'm learning to mix up theories with hands-on exercises to keep things interesting. Think of it as seasoning a dish to perfection!
3. Writing That Hooks You: Writing course content is a whole different ball game. It's not just about dumping information; it's about making it catchy and clear. Kind of like writing a hit song that sticks in your head!
4. Iterate, Iterate, Iterate: My first draft is never my last. I've been getting feedback and tweaking things along the way. It's like sculpting – a little chisel here, a little polish there until it feels right. Stay tuned for more adventures in my course creation journey!
?? Read?- In the latest chapter of my 'never stop learning' journey, I've found myself buried in an array of how-to manuals. It's been a fascinating ride, from the practical to the playful!
I started with the nitty-gritty of setting up a printer (more complex than you'd think!), then shifted gears into the tech world by exploring how to create a mobile app. The creativity and technicalities involved were mind-blowing! Next on my list was diving into the world of online course creation - a mix of educational theories and digital savvy. And for a fun twist, I wrapped up with learning to play the game Hues and Cues.
It's been a delightful mix of technical know-how and leisurely learning. Each guide has not only expanded my skillset but also opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of what we can learn and do with a little guidance.
?? Watched?- Finished "The Crown" and left wondering, why does it have to end? Such a gripping tale of power, politics, and personal journeys.
?? Accomplished?- I'm thrilled to join the Board of Directors at Insure Equality ! It’s a step towards driving cultural change in the insurance industry and amplifying diverse voices.

Q:?What is one thing you would recommend people do on their LInkedin profile?
?A: Choosing just one feature to enhance your LinkedIn profile is a challenge, especially if you've already mastered the essentials like a compelling headline, a professional profile picture, an engaging background banner, and a well-articulated summary. However, if I were to recommend one feature beyond those items that could elevate your LinkedIn presence, it would be activating Creator Mode.
Why Opt for Creator Mode?
Creator Mode is a powerful tool for those aspiring to be thought leaders or influencers in their respective fields. Here are its key benefits:
Activating Creator Mode
Turning on Creator Mode is straightforward. Visit your LinkedIn profile, scroll to the 'Resources' section, and select the option to enable Creator Mode. Follow the simple prompts to set your preferences and topics, and you're ready to embrace your role as a LinkedIn Creator!
Creator Mode isn't just a feature; it's a commitment to expanding your influence and sharing valuable insights on LinkedIn. If you have further questions or need tips on maximizing your LinkedIn strategy, feel free to reach out or drop your questions in the comments!
