Embrace Chaos. But shut out the Noise.

Previously I had shared about how chaos have there own beauty in a random pattern for they lead us to think, forge our paths and create something. Chaos in the universe hardly change their form. What changes is our perception, as upon a significant effort and time invested in understanding those, we draw patterns, derive meaning and build a language around that.
As I travelled back home after the last work day of the week today, wishing for calm, the noise around in daily life became more perceptible and loud. There is a lot of noise around in the world. Nope, that is not the sonic waves that I am talking about. It is the meaningless irate elements that is filling up the zone of our lives and shaping our environment, levels of calm and perception of people and world around. Two realisations of an exhausted idle mind that looks for rest but begets only the echoes of the external noise.
Amid the chaos are these panelists shouting like apes on news debates. But there is no news. And certainly no 'debate'. News channels have no news but all entertainment. Entertainment channels have no entertainment but all crap.
Garbage bins have lesser disposable and more recyclables. Disposables adore the clogged up drains. Oceans have more garbage than life.
Life has more news than entertainment, more crap than life and the second realisation is that life is only disposable and not recyclable.

Trying to go off to sleep. The world seems to be on an irreversible autopilot mode of self annihilation to this brain. We may have made sense of chaos around and consequently built systems and technology and achieved advancements in our understanding, control and influence on the environment. But have we fed in more calm and stability or noise in the system?
Why such a post on LinkedIn. Well, is there any value or behaviour that we talk of in corporates and leadership literature that does not concern any of the above mentioned acts and which in turn does not impact our behaviour and mental peace? Think.
We cannot be better professionals without being a better, wiser and saner individual! We become not just what we consume. We also become what we live amidst. Whether you consume pieces from your ecosystem or not, the ecosystem does consume you. Averaging out of collective behaviour, of sorts if one may say. Now, think again!
PS. If anyone is up for trivia, do you recognise the painter of the artwork attached?
