Embrace "The Change"? & Break "The Chain"?

Embrace "The Change" & Break "The Chain"

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to manifold, and damaging the job market by pushing lot of positions to become redundant. This is a bit surreal really isn’t it?

With an overwhelming amount of Linkedin Status's/Inmails/New Connection Requests I've been receiving of those seeking new opportunity in current scenario is no less than a pain to see the best talent going in a dark hole. I know there are are lot of disappointing statuses being posted about the worst recession and worst top management decisions and all that kind of thing. And hence, I am taking this opportunity to share my thoughts on how we can use this as a period to "Re-Invent Ourselves" instead playing accusations and blame games.

This may seem like an irony with seeing everywhere as an economic downturn, businesses closing, and jobs disappearing, I understand it's difficult but not impossible to not get frustrated and lead your thoughts with positive approach.

Take a deep breath, and initiate evaluating your current scenario, shift your emphasis to a new area/learning or just make some space for yourself and carry on going..

As I said, its time to unlock a whole raft of possibilities and opportunities. You may want to face difficulty with optimism or to face difficulty with pessimism

There's a huge strength of being YOU right now who possess COURAGE, because you set out on this road in the first place.

What's Next now?

  • Take a break, to plan and organize your thoughts & Expenses for upcoming months
  • If you wished to be an Entrepreneur/Consultant, utilise more of this time to pick things with clarity
  • If you wish to continue working in corporate, update your resume (Quantify your achievements and highlight them) & prepare cover letter
  • List down companies you have contacts/leads already and those who you'd wish to be associated with. Maintain a diary/excel to keep updating the same with respective progress or updates
  • Spread the news via sending linkedin messages/connection requests (With personal note making relevance to you to reach out that person)
  • Don't restrict your reach to only RECRUITERS/HRs, feel free to reach out to Business Directors who can spread the word
  • Call as many people as you can within your network, and be connected with them on a regular basis (you never know, who could be of your help)
  • Last but not the least, GET GOING WITH DREAMING OF GETTING INTO BETTER..

MORE POWER to each one who's going through this tough phase and this too shall pass just like your previous minor/major set backs had ...

I understand finding yourself un- or underemployed is never easy, it can feel all the more stressful amid a global crisis. Once you’ve taken a beat to accept your new situation, use these tips to help assess your skills, and job search—and I look forward to finding you all in a need footing in a new & better position.

Remember: There is no investment you can make which will pay you well as The Effort to scatter sunshine, and good cheer through your establishment.
