Your Job:

• you work in our agile team,
• develop concepts and prototype implementations. Your main focus will be on open-source components (e.g. Covesa DLT, system, udev, D-Bus, …), cross-functional platform concepts, and the advancement of the engineering infrastructure.
• review requirements on software engineering and refine them in collaboration with relevant stakeholders,
• track technical discussions, contribute internally and with external parties,
• support quality measures and contribute to the design of supplemental processes, in particular taking care of embedded Linux architecture and maintenance.
• will join an international team of engineers developing, optimizing and maintaining an automotive Linux or Android system and follow developments in the Open Source Community

Your Qualifications:

• ?Software development is not only your job but also your passion
• Wide experience from several years in embedded software development
• Excellent knowledge of the programming languages C, C++ and Python
• Experience in design and development of continuous integration setups for embedded Linux, Android OS (automotive) and QNX
• You feel at home working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Good to excellent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar qualification
• Ability to cooperate with developers and suppliers in an international environment (Japan, India, Vietnam)
• Very good skills in English language
• Self-contained and target-oriented work-style
