Embarking on a New Chapter: My Journey to Dalet

As I reflect on my 30-year journey through the tech industry, from my beginnings at IBM to transformative roles at 微软 , 甲骨文 , Sage and 思科 , and most recently, creating and leading Grupo?Primavera ( Cegid Primavera ) (with Oakley Capital )?into a landmark integration with Cegid ?(with Silver Lake , KKR and ALTAONE CAPITAL LLP ), I find myself at the cusp of an exhilarating new chapter.

Today, I'm honored to announce my appointment as CEO of Dalet , a pioneer in powering media-rich organizations with advanced, flexible, cloud-enabled & cloud-native, AI, and automation solutions. Dalet has spent over three decades as the bedrock for innovation in media, breaking new ground and redefining not just technology stacks but entire operational and business models. I will also join the Board and become an investor in the company.

In this era where AI and cloud are not just emerging technologies but foundational elements that redefine the industry, Dalet stands uniquely positioned. Dalet’s solutions, developed for today’s dynamic environment, offer an unparalleled opportunity to shape the future of media.

And this matters to me personally. I have been an avid consumer of media and news from a very young age: I had lived in three countries by the age of twelve, became interested in global affairs, liked to read articles in The Economist when I was thirteen years old, and never looked back. So I am very aware of the hurdles being faced by the industry today: grappling with the challenges of adapting to rapidly evolving digital landscapes, consumer demands, and new forms of competition while also navigating the complexities of implementing AI and cloud technologies to stay competitive and relevant. And thriving in a world where “fake news” are pervasive and quality, trust-worthy content is more?critical?than ever.

This legacy of transformation and trusted leadership in news, sports, and entertainment, combined with the opportunity to help define the future of media in such a critical time,?together with a team of passionate and committed colleagues,?is what excites me the most.

As I step into this role, my commitment is twofold. First, to leverage Dalet’s storied heritage and expertise to set new standards in innovation, customer success, and inclusive leadership.?Second, and equally important,?to amplify our focus on execution, ensuring we not only envision the future but also bring it to fruition.?

Our journey is fueled by a remarkable culture of commitment, passion, and adaptability—a culture that I am now proud to be a part of and one that I believe is our greatest strength.
