Embarking on a Journey ??

Greetings, LinkedIn community! As a Human Resources professional with a unique background, I believe it's important to reintroduce myself and the values that guide my career journey.

My Background:

My journey started more than a decade ago when I joined the ranks of the United States Air Force. Over the years, I've held various roles, from a Basic Airman in Knowledge Operations Management to a 1st Lt in Equal Opportunity, serving my country in different capacities. These experiences instilled in me a level of discipline, adaptability, and leadership that has been the cornerstone of my professional growth.

Fast forward to today, and I proudly wear the title of HR Generalist at U.S. Cargo Systems. It's a role that has opened up a whole new world for me, transitioning from a military setting to a civilian one.

My Values:

At my core are values that have guided me through every phase of my life:

My Career Journey:

My career journey has been marked by both challenges and triumphs. I've faced deployment to Iraq, juggled the responsibilities of a new mother while serving, and persevered through multiple rejections in my quest to become an officer.

But it's these challenges that have shaped me into the HR professional I am today. They've taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning. They've also motivated me to seek higher education, leading to my recent achievement of a Master of Business Administration.
