Eman Mojali participates in W.I.N-MENA Conference 2023
Eman Mojali , Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain National Insurance Company B.S.C. (c) (bni), Bahrain’s leading insurance company, was invited to take part in a discussion panel at the W.I.N (Women in Insurance Network) - MENA Conference 2023, which took place on 8th September 2023 in DIFC, Dubai, United Arab of Emirates.

W.I.N MENA, a UAE based initiative?that was founded in 2020 to provide an inclusive platform for female insurance professionals in the MENA region, and DIFC Insurance Association, a non-profit association constituted of a broad range of members from the insurance industry partnered up to bring alive the first of its kind "W.I.N - MENA Conference 2023". An event focused on bringing together female insurance professionals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to learn from industry leaders, engage in panel discussions and network.

Eman Mojali, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain National Insurance participated in one of the discussion panels titled ‘Overcoming the challenges for women in a traditionally male-centric industry’. She discussed the common challenges for women in the regional insurance landscape, her experiences, and tactics to overcome these challenges and establish credibility in the industry.

Reflecting on her participation, Mojali, shared her insights: "like many other industries, the MENA region's insurance landscape may present unique challenges for women. Overcoming these challenges required resilience, determination, and strategy. Establishing credibility was a process of consistently demonstrating my competence, showing up authentically, and building strong relationships. Additionally, contributing to making value, leading by example, and enduring difficulties with fortitude were all aspects that contributed to establishing credibility.

She added, "Being a woman in a male-dominated industry is considered a strength, women unique perspective brings in fresh ideas and approaches to the table, which fosters innovation and drives progress in the industry."
