Email isn't Dead!

I sit here and think of a lot of the questions I get on a daily basis. The one I get the most is about email marketing. Email marketing is a sleeper agent that no one ever really gives credit to. Email marketing has so much to offer to your business and so much of an impact that most don’t realize it and doesn’t use it for their benefit.
I have been a Digital Marketer for some time now and I learn something new every day that’s for sure. The one thing that I held off till recently is email marketing. Beforehand I was emailing each individual and would take a day or two just to do that. Some wouldn’t even respond and others would make it back to my sites, but I stayed in contact with my customers.
Most large corporations send out thousands of emails a day, you probably have received a few this week and didn’t even know it. Something about a special or sale going, maybe some new product that just hit the shelves and around for a limited time. Some might even have been personalized just to you.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret I found out myself the hard way, they are cheating and have programs to do that for them. These programs allow you to write one email and send it out to thousands of people a day. Hell, I use one and I only send 500 emails a day. Now the thing is you won’t see a flood of people coming to your website right away. Think about it, do you open every single email every day? I know I don’t that’s for sure, I have other things to do during the day. But at least twice a week I go through my emails and read what I have going on.
Emailing will get you in front of your readers and start to build that one on one relationship. With that, emailing is the best way to show off your product. It’s as if you and your customer is in a room alone and you are able to take your time showing them what you have in great detail.
Along with that, you can tag your website, blog, social media pages and any other links that you may think your audience may like to visit as well.
So with these programs they don’t just send out 1 email to thousands of people for you they will respond to a reply with a custom message as well. You can have 10 responds ready and when they respond or click your link that person is going through your path of knowledge that you laid before them. They will see your products, your information, your website, blog or webinar all through one email.
So you ask, what happens if they don’t open my email? Easy, they get put into another list or group and you can set up a time frame for when you want to try to contact them again and start the process all over again. The more addresses you acquire the better chance you have to making a sale and having that customer come back to you again and again.
