Elsevier expands ClinicalKey AI to enhance clinician workflows and Medical Education

Elsevier, a global leader in health information and data analytics, is expanding its ClinicalKey AI solution with new functionality and strategic integrations designed to streamline clinician workflows and improve access to evidence-based content at the point of care.

New integrations with Epic’s electronic health record (EHR) system and iPrescribe by DrFirst will enable clinicians to access ClinicalKey AI directly within their existing systems, reducing administrative burden and improving efficiency. A newly launched mobile app for Apple and Android devices further enhances accessibility, ensuring clinicians can retrieve critical information on the go.

ClinicalKey AI will also introduce a Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) tracking feature, allowing healthcare professionals to earn, track, and claim credits seamlessly. The platform will support auto-submission of MOC credits for eight medical specialties, making it the first AI-powered clinical decision support solution to offer this capability.

Elsevier continues to expand ClinicalKey AI’s content offerings, integrating trusted sources such as The Lancet, Goldman-Cecil, and the American College of Cardiology’s Clinical Practice Guidelines. Available in over 50 countries, ClinicalKey AI provides curated, evidence-based answers tailored to point-of-care decision-making.
