Els Llums de Sant Pau: The most awaited Christmas spectacle returns to light up Barcelona

Els Llums de Sant Pau, one of Barcelona's most awaited Christmas shows, returns this Christmas with a completely revamped proposal. From 21 November to 12 January 2025, the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site will be transformed into the setting for a magical journey through Christmas in various countries around the world.

The 4th edition of Els Llums de Sant Pau will offer a new experience, featuring a more interactive journey through various sensory installations. This journey allows visitors to experience Christmas traditions from countries such as Mexico, Greece, India, Italy, New Zealand, Argentina, and the United States, among others. Local traditions like the Tió and the Three Kings will also be highlighted. Furthermore, this will be the perfect backdrop for capturing photos that look like Christmas postcards, all within a magical setting accompanied by a specially curated soundtrack.

With over 620,000 visitors in its first three editions, this event has established itself as one of Barcelona’s most iconic Christmas traditions. It’s an experience for all ages and a unique opportunity to discover the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The organizers, Proactiv Entertainment, DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG, and Handwerker Promotion, have created impressive light installations with interactive elements. As a new feature this year, visitors will be able to document their magical journey with a Christmas passport, which they will stamp at each experience. Additionally, Llumi, a star that has descended from the sky, will accompany visitors throughout the itinerary, acting as their guide during Els Llums de Sant Pau. The Christmas journey will also include a gastronomic offering with Christmas sweets, snacks, and both hot and cold drinks.
