What does it take to be great Leader ?
There are few determinants or personal qualities one must possess to be a great leader. Guiding vision, passion, and integrity are well known leadership traits. There are some lesser known traits which are perceived as weaknesses. These hidden qualities / traits can be nurtured to help ones role as a leader.
One such quality is Eloquence.
The ability to speak and write persuasively is extremely important aspect of a Leader. This has gained importance in the age of digital communication. Every one expects Leaders to communicate eloquently which will surely quell fears, dampen dissent or inspire people to reach new heights.
One must practice speaking and writing skills to become a more effective leader. This quality is also very closely related to ones expressive and sensitive nature towards others. We all are required to have sensitivity towards colleagues / peers / competitors while at work place or otherwise, while having a conversation / discussion.
A leader who is Eloquent must express himself/ herself clearly and powerfully. Being eloquent requires your words to be smooth, clear, powerful and interesting. So please be thoughtful what you speak /write, how you speak/ write and the way you speak/ write will get you the desired attention of a True Leader.
