Elon Musk to start his own Social Media App?

Elon Musk, the business and tech billionaire currently on his way to being a trillionaire, has once again set social media on a rampage with his statement. He recently tweeted that he was thinking of making his own social media platform, in reply to a tweet by Pranay Pathole.?

Pranay, a software techie, asked him “Would you consider building a new social media platform, Elon Musk? One that would consist (of) an open-source algorithm, one where free speech and adhering to free speech is given top priority, one where propaganda is very minimal. I think that kind of a platform is needed.”

The CEO of Tesla Motors replied, “I am giving serious thought to this.”

This exchange on Twitter has caused an outburst, especially at the current times of censorship by the major social media giants.?

Elon Musk is a role model and leader to many, but some even see him as an extremist. He is known to protect the basic rights of a person. This was evident when Musk had refused to block Russian media on its Starlink satellite system stating the freedom of expression. Elon informed that he was asked by a few (unnamed) governments to block Russian media from broadcasting on SpaceX's internet system. He declined this proposition saying that won't happen "unless at gunpoint". He also said, "Sorry to be a free speech absolutist". Musk even activated the Starlink satellite services over Ukraine after it went through the tragedy of invasion on Feb 24th.?

If the hero is intent on making a social media platform, it's safe to assume that it might be a game-changer considering the capabilities of the great mind.
