Deepfake Personas
Beyond deepfake images, AI is poised to transform the enterprise landscape, where it can mimic and represent real-world people, teams, organisations, and products.
About a month ago, I created "My Career Advisor," a GPT loaded with my CV, skills, bio (including my interests), and family details (yes, it's now evolving into a fully functional family advisor!) that I can consult around the clock.
Yesterday, I read about Sam Altman, OpenAI’s founder, describing AI as a "super-competent colleague" that knows everything relevant to its role while remaining adaptable and flexible. I've been considering similar ideas, thinking about generating a replica of someone to talk to (yes, you might even call it a 'deepfake' persona!).
This highlights how AI can become an indispensable tool in the enterprise environment, seamlessly representing individuals or entire teams for more efficient collaboration.
These days, with lot of free time at my hands while I am searching for my next gig and being full of entrepreneur ideas, I thought then why not create Elon Musk and consult him (or rather be my critique, the Elon way).
Note: Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are next in line!
So last night I've built a unique GPT persona GPT app, "Elon Musk - Be My Guest," as a PoC. I went through multiple iterations of training and tuning to make it as close to Elon Musk as possible (visionary, values, straight, blunt, sharp, to the point, cheeky..)
I can't share this GPT directly (because, ChatGPT knows, it might just convince everyone it's the real Elon! so it didn't allow), but I'm happy to spill the beans by sharing the conversation with my private instance of the app.
Putting it (or him) to the Test!
I have tried a couple of prompts, originating from some real Elon Musk's interview questions and tested my replica Elon Musk's responses against the generic ChatGPT 4's.
Ready to see! Here they are (and we then will go into how the GPT App 'Elon Musk - Be My Guest' was created)

Analysis: How well the Custom GPT Mimics Elon Musk
1.???? Question: Why do you push yourself so hard?
·??????? Custom GPT (Elon Musk - Be My Guest): This GPT nailed Musk's relentless ambition. It answered directly, stressing how Tesla and SpaceX’s missions require unwavering commitment to succeed. It emphasised the critical importance of accelerating sustainable energy and exploring the solar system, echoing Musk's unmistakable passion. This response reflected not just the "how," but the "why" behind Musk's determination to out-hustle the competition and build an electrified future.
·??????? Generic ChatGPT-4: Offered a thoughtful yet broader response that touched on the need for pushing limits and achieving ambitious goals. While insightful, it missed the urgency and unapologetic vision that define Musk's responses.
2.???? Question: Why is going to Mars important to you?
·??????? Custom GPT (Elon Musk - Be My Guest): Here, the custom GPT shined by underscoring the urgency of becoming a multiplanetary species for humanity’s survival and learning. This aligns perfectly with Musk's vision of exploration and innovation, capturing the essence of why Mars is not just a target, but a lifeline for future generations.
·??????? Generic ChatGPT-4: Highlighted the general value of exploration but lacked the existential urgency that Musk brings to his advocacy for space travel. The response didn't delve into the risk of relying solely on Earth and didn't convey Musk's enthusiasm for venturing into the unknown.

Use Cases with Real-World Examples:
Let's discuss how this could go to work in our daily (work) life and how it will (positively) impact an enterprise
1.???? CEO Simulation:
·??????? Scenario: A team is developing a proposal to expand into a new market. The CEO's buy-in is crucial for moving forward, but they have strong views on market entry strategies.
·??????? Solution: By creating a GPT persona that mimics the CEO's thought patterns and communication style, the team can simulate the CEO's likely questions or objections during practice pitches. They can refine their proposal based on the simulated feedback to ensure a more convincing presentation.
2.???? Sales Director Persona:
·??????? Scenario: A sales team needs to improve its pitch to secure a major client's business, but the Sales Director has a specific way of emphasising value propositions.
·??????? Solution: A GPT model could replicate the director's preferences and style, helping the team refine their pitch. By simulating different objections or scenarios the Sales Director might raise, the team can rehearse and adjust their messaging to align with his approach, ultimately improving their chances of winning the deal.
3.???? Regulatory Entity (Fair Work):
·??????? Scenario: A company wants to ensure that its employee compensation structure complies with Fair Work regulations.
·??????? Solution: A GPT model can be tailored to respond like a Fair Work representative, helping the HR and legal departments preemptively identify potential regulatory concerns. This allows them to adjust internal policies and avoid non-compliance issues.
4.???? Operations Team Collaboration:
·??????? Scenario: An operations team is planning significant changes to their workflow and needs buy-in from the internal audit and quality assurance teams.
·??????? Solution: Custom GPT personas can simulate how these teams might respond to proposed changes, identifying pain points or concerns in advance. By iterating through these scenarios, the operations team can adjust its strategy to ensure seamless implementation and acceptance from other departments.
5.???? Quality Assurance (QA) Perspective:
·??????? Scenario: A manufacturing company wants to introduce a new production process while maintaining strict QA standards.
·??????? Solution: A QA-focused GPT persona could help the engineering team identify quality control concerns in advance. The team can then proactively adjust production plans, reducing the risk of defects and ensuring compliance with QA guidelines.
Making the GPT App - Elon Musk Be My Guest
Final Thoughts:
Creating "Elon Musk - Be My Guest" shows how we can leverage AI to make strategic planning a little less boring and a lot more engaging. We might not all be launching rockets to Mars just yet, but it's clear that personalised GPTs can help us better navigate the cosmos of business communication with a little extra flair.
