The whole world is holding its breath at the moment. Production plants are at risk of or being shut down, and major industry actors are shifting production from their current products to production of medical equipment. The lack of medical equipment and a need for continuous innovation of new and improved medical devices, is strongly influencing our lives these days. We all depend on innovation and the ability to produce, for us to curve the Covid-19 outbreak, so we must prioritize.

As an integrated and experienced partner in the Medical industry, we consider it our responsibility to prioritize medical production from prototypes to volume deliveries during these unprecedented times. Our global network of manufacturing partners have already pre-approved the prioritization and escalation of Medical production. 

At Elmatica we currently prioritize all medical demands and orders, as we consider this our civil duty. Meaning that all escalations for the medical industry are pre-approved by Elmatica management, and with the highest priority. We kindly encourage the entire industry to follow.

Ten of our Manufacturing Partners are ISO 13485:2016 certified (Quality Management Systems to provide medical devices). They have all promised priority and extra support for medical orders. 

Trying to curve the Covid-19 outbreak is a global responsibility, closing down manufacturing sites will not help in this retrospective. This is also why we this week have addressed a letter to all our manufacturing partners, supporting their desire to keep production running. We cannot face a situation where sites are closed down, as this can and will, have an affect on our global capacity in combating Covid-19.

We have reached out to our manufacturing partners globally to help gather medical protection equipment.
