Elliott Wave Theory
Roger wrote this today:
Around 1981, John Harder, wrote a book, THE REVERSE WAVE, documenting
broadening tops over many years. The EDWARDS and MCGEE chart book also shows
this kind of top. But, contrary to you, Mr harder proved a broadening top
was/is an elliott pattern. He wrote that it's an elliott third wave, then an
A_B_C pattern with the B wave at a new high. Then the fifth wave.
Mr Harder also proved to EDWARDS and MCGEE that there is such a thing as a
broadening bottom.
Mr Harder became a wall street runner in 1937. I was a broker for 28 years. Mr
Harder wrote a letter to Barron's around 1990. Barron's made an article of his
"letter to the editor".
As far as I know, I was the only person in the USA to call him about the
article. We talked every now and then for several years. He told me that he
made 40 percent per year compounded for the 20 years after writing the book.
--------------The book was a spiral notebook with documented trades. Mr Harder
bought put options on oil stocks at the 1980 top and made around 500 percent
when they were closed out.
