Eliminate waste and non-value process steps... MAK

In today’s world, it is time of maximize value of money, minimize waste and use experience besides producing greater customer satisfaction and improved profit margin.

Most of the time, we come across projects are behind schedule and over budget. We must do thorough examination and process analysis to identify inefficiencies. This can be done by understanding steps to eliminate waste and non-value process steps.

Doing work by using lean principles is a business philosophy that doesn’t have set methodologies for improvement of business processes to reduce the cost and time besides increase in quality and customer satisfaction. Few points are highlighted here to assist in defining your Client's journey with lean approach to make the difference: ?

1.???? Customer Satisfaction: Value of service shall be at the right time, at an appropriate price, where customer is willing to pay the price.

2.???? Value Mapping: All the actions – both values added, and non-values added to bring a service from concept stage need to be created with value stream map to demonstrate the process being treated, which define transformation from current state to future state.

3.???? ?Eliminate Waste: Once value is defined and value mapping is identified, the nest step is to create continuous flow of work by eliminating backflows, scrap, rework, and interruptions. This will allow no stoppages and no waste to flow of work.

4.???? Customer Focus: There is no need to provide anything more than agreed initial scope to customer to finish the process just in time as customer pull the flow by triggering the movement as per customer initial request.

5.???? Pursuing Perfection: The pursuit of perfection lead the transformation to a lean culture where process improvement is endless and we constantly strive to get closer to perfection.

Beyond all that abundance and beyond all that deprivation, what remains is the memory of experience to overcome waste in terms of defects, overproduction, waiting, transportation, inventory, and non-utilization of talent.
