Eligibility to Use GSA Schedule
In addition to the traditional federal agencies, way too many GSA schedule holders fail to understand the expanded scope of their possible customers that they can sell to, which include but are not limited to: wholly-owned Government corporations, independent establishments in the Executive branch, mixed-ownership government corporations, the District of Columbia government, cost reimbursement government contractors and tribal organizations, etc.
Have you ever sold to the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation, Civil Air Patrol, Federal Home Loan Banks, Great Lakes Fishery Commission, International Coffee Association or the World Tourism Organization? Answers, no, no, no, no, no, no and no. It's most common that said organizations don't even know that they can purchase off of GSA schedules, per the attached OGP 4800.21, effective July 19, 2016.
As a GSA holder, you are responsible for ENSURING that your sales staff quote your GSA schedules to any federal agency or customers listed, on OGP 4800.21, even if they don't ask for GSA pricing.
Please download the OGP4800.21 per the link below, review with your federal government sales staff and implement fail-safe procedures using the attached list of Eligible GSA Sources that can purchase off a GSA schedule.
