ELHURT EMS: Summary of the third quarter of the year

Did summer turn out to be a period in which there was time to reflect and recharge the batteries for the intense autumn?

S?awomir Tkacz:?Summer usually allowed us to relax for a while and you could actually feel less work. This time it was different. We are constantly struggling to fulfill orders, doing our best to make the problem with the availability of electronic components the least severe. More than once we have had to redesign modules, precisely in terms of the components needed. This doesn't mean, however, that the summer period wasn't full of successes - thanks to the work of the entire team, we closed more than one Lean Manufacturing improvement project. We are not slowing down.

What areas of business can we be satisfied with at this point?

S?awomir Tkacz:?We continue to record a lot of new orders, and we continue to increase the value of our warehouse to keep production flowing for our customers. Despite problems with the availability of electronic components, we still have good results in terms of on-time delivery. We are also increasing the efficiency of our processes, investing in the development of our machinery and, above all, in our employees. We have recently obtained another certification, which this time will give us the ability to manufacture EX-marked products, i.e. products that meet the ATEX standard.

ATEX certification is given to equipment that has gone through rigorous testing outlined by European Union directives and proved safe to use in specific environments with explosive atmospheres, according to the zones they are certified to be used in.

How would you rate our debut participation in the E-22 fair in Denmark?

S?awomir Tkacz:?This is a local event, aimed heavily at the Danish market, but I'm very happy that we were able to be a part of it and meet the Danish clients face to face. Even more so after such a long period without foreign trips, period full of covid restrictions. I think there will be more opportunities to meet us at this event. The Nordic countries are an important piece of the puzzle for our business, their markets are very innovative, also when it comes to electronics.
