What were the biggest challenges of the first quarter of 2022?

S?awomir Tkacz: The first quarter is certainly a great deal of uncertainty in the electronics market. We face increasing difficulties in component availability and dynamic rise of utilities and raw material costs. All of this has created major challenges since the beginning of the year. On the other hand, there is enormous pressure on deliveries, deadlines, and an exceptionally large volume of orders. Of course, when it seemed that the supply situation cannot get worse, there was a war in Ukraine, the consequences of which we are only to experience. At this point, it is still difficult to determine what influence it will have on our lives and business, but this will certainly be a negative impact.

What are the goals set for the Elhurt EMS Team?

S?awomir Tkacz: This year, as it has been for years, ELHURT EMS has set itself the goal of a dynamic growth of turnover, despite an even more difficult market situation than usual. Another important goal for 2022 is to increase the number of employees, both productive and office, increase production capacity and ensure flexibility in relation to the expected supply problems.

What is encouraging after the first 3 months of the year?

S?awomir Tkacz: Our solid strategy, enthusiasm for action, and experience gained in successfully solving and overcoming any rising challenges, are still encouraging after all. Close cooperation with customers is also important. Awareness of "playing to one goal" is particularly important, especially in these more difficult times.
