I have a lot of people ask me if there’s a secret sauce or a formula for writing YouTube Ad hooks & honestly, there’s a a lot of parallels to the classic “Elevator Pitch”
This is a great thought exercise to help you write your own Hooks!
Picture this: You step into an elevator with your absolute perfect client. You have just 30 seconds before they get off, and you'll likely never see them again. You know you can genuinely help them - what would you say?
This scenario is the perfect framework for crafting your hook.
Here's how to break it down:
The First 5 Seconds
This is your "make or break" moment. You need to say something that will make them look up from their phone and pay attention. This could be:
The Next 25 Seconds
Now you need to:
The key is to think about what would make YOU stop and pay attention if you were in your ideal client's shoes.
