Elevating Your Coaching Impact: Strategies for Business Coaches

Calling all Professionals who serve Business Owners: coaches, Fractional CFOs, CEOs, COOs, CMOs, VP of Sales, whatever description you use or discipline you leverage; your focus is on improving the business for the client you are working with, right? Well, this Newsletter is for you!

I'm excited to offer my newest newsletter, "Biz Coaches Edge." After 5 years of Coaching Business Owners on a myriad of topics, I'm sharing what I have learned with any Coach who will listen. From Growing and Scaling a business to Turning Around losing ventures, Downsizing Operations, and even effectively starting or exiting a business, we've done all of that with our clients.

The truth is that in the business coaching world, there are several topics that are necessary and valuable to business owners, and even more challenges and concerns that need to be addressed—not only for the Business Owners but even more so for the Coaches!

Here is a short clip from The Biz Coach Show , our weekly Podcast dedicated to Coaches serving business owners.

Look, I'm not going to insult you and tell you I know how to Coach better than you do, especially if you've been doing it for 20 years. However, I am certain that after 5 years and now working with as many as 14 Coaches over the last couple of years, we likely have seen a few things we could share to help you in your coaching business.

Whether that's how to work with a stubborn client, where to go for resources, how to effectively market and sell your services, technology, tech-stacks, social media, etc, etc, etc...I could go on. The fact is, this gig can be tough, and it's even tougher when you are doing it alone. However, you don't have to!

When I pivoted my brand to My Biz Coaches in late 2020, I realized that if I was going to find success as a Coach, it couldn't be all about me. I quickly recognized that the right approach to solving client problems would require more insight than just my personal experience. A collaborative approach that allows for collective insights and additional experiences is exceptionally valuable when used correctly. The challenge was how to get Coaches to work together.

So, Four years ago, I began recruiting coaches to partner with. Three years ago, we put together a loose outline of what that structure could look like, and in the last two years, we made the decision to begin searching for more coaches. Today, with 17 part-time and full-time coaches, we share our experiences and perspectives with each other each week. Then, each week, I will outline those thoughts and insights here for anyone interested in learning more about what we are doing.

We will share stories of success, challenges, and disappointments, as well as how we solve our problems in everything related to running a coaching business. I expect this to be a phenomenal resource for anyone who serves business owners, and I hope that you will check in 1 to 2 times per week for more information to help you in your coaching business.

Thanks for checking out our first edition of "Biz Coaches Edge." We look forward to serving Professionals who serve Business Owners!
