Elevating Training Standards

Elevating Training Standards

The training industry, particularly regarding the quality of local trainers, has long been a subject of debate and discussion.

At Access Ideas (M) Sdn Bhd, we firmly believe in the importance of setting a high standard for our Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions. This isn’t considered a “trade secret”, in fact, sharing best practices is encouraged. When successful strategies are openly shared and adopted, it helps elevate the overall quality within the industry. The primary aim has always been to raise training standards, and what better place to start than at the entry point, ensuring quality within the TTT sessions themselves.

Of course, “quality” may seem subjective, with different parameters influencing its measurement. However, if a TTT programme fails to reflect the industry’s standards and quality expectations, it misses the mark as a role model for those about to embark on their journey as trainers.

Quality at TTT level includes practical considerations, such as maintaining training environments that follow essential SOPs for health and safety, including proper seating arrangements and safe in-session activities. These are essential aspects of any training room setup.

Our TTT sessions are capped at a maximum of 15 participants. This not only ensures adequate space but also allows for personalised attention to each participant or future trainers who will shape the industry. Without experiencing and understanding high standards from the outset, new trainers may lack the foundation needed to achieve excellence in their roles.

While collaboration is welcome, we stand firm on maintaining our standards for the benefit of future trainers and the industry as a whole.
