As hospitals across Lebanon prepare for the upcoming #Lebanese_accreditation, it’s crucial to ask ourselves: how closely aligned are we with the #JointCommissionInternational (JCI) 8th Edition standards?
The #JCI_8th_Edition is globally recognized as the gold standard for healthcare quality and patient safety and will be applicable as of January 2025. But have we considered how well the Lebanese accreditation aligns with these rigorous #international_benchmarks?
#Integrating JCI 8th Edition standards into our accreditation preparations not only ensures #compliance but also pushes us to #excel in areas like #patientcentered care, #riskmanagement, #operationalefficiency and #global_health_impact.
By doing so, we position our hospitals to not only meet #local_requirements but also to stand out on the #global stage.
It's time to evaluate our #strategies and consider: as we work toward meeting the #Lebanese_accreditation_standards, to what extent are we also striving for #excellence by #aligning with the #best_practices outlined in the JCI 8th Edition?
