ELEVATING AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE CAPABILITIES VIA ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH INTEL
Asia Digital Engineering (ADE)
A data & technology-driven aviation maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) organization with 20+ years of experience.
We are proud to announce a strategic partnership with Intel, an industry leader in creating groundbreaking technology through its Intel Partner Alliance Program. This collaboration underscores ADE's commitment to offering exceptional services to its clients by unlocking the full potential of Intel's cutting-edge technology.
In the aviation industry, safety and regulatory compliance are paramount, with Aircraft Maintenance Records (AMRs) playing a crucial role. AMRs provide a comprehensive history of an aircraft's maintenance activities, ensuring airworthiness, reliability, and overall value. ADE's Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) transformative journey with Intel leverages the power of Intel's 4th Gen Xeon Scalable processors and the OpenVINO toolkit, enabling significant advancements in real-time processing of extensive AMR data.
The collaboration with Intel brings forth a technological marvel in the form of the 4th Gen Xeon Scalable 8480 CPU, which serves as the heart of ADE's optimized AMR capabilities. This partnership facilitates remarkable improvements in inference throughput while maintaining accuracy, setting new standards for excellence in the aviation industry.
Adnan Mansur, Head of Digital & Innovation Services at Asia Digital Engineering, said, "This collaboration with Intel marks a transformative milestone for ADE, aligning with our strategic objective to elevate machine learning capabilities in aircraft maintenance. By harnessing Intel's cutting-edge technology, we are not only unlocking new possibilities in optimizing Aircraft Maintenance Records but also significantly boosting ADE's machine learning capabilities. This effort is directed towards speeding up Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for document understanding and enhancing throughput for data-heavy workloads, ultimately ensuring heightened safety and efficiency in aviation operations.?
ADE's pursuit of excellence extends beyond the optimization of AMR capabilities. We are actively evaluating a transition from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) N1 instances to the more powerful GCP C3 compute instances. These instances, powered by 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids), DDR5 memory, and Google's custom Intel Infrastructure Processing Engine (IPU), promise to deliver optimal, reliable, and consistent performance.
The move to GCP's C3 compute instances not only enhances AMR capabilities but also signifies ADE's commitment to staying at the forefront of aviation innovation. We are dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions that elevate the standards of aircraft engineering and maintenance.
