ALS patient's iron levels were the same as controls which indicates that the elevated ferritin is related to tissue injury and physical stress like a chronic smoldering infection. The fact that these people all have elevated neutrophil counts, chronic gut dysbiosis, and hypoxia of their spinal cords all point to the presence of microparticulate poisons that are damaging the pericytes of their NEUROVASCULAR UNITS that control the blood flow to the spinal cord.
