Elevate Your Stay: Nadir Horizontal Shower at Pod Ró?? Hotel

Hotel Pod Ró??, nestled in the heart of Krakow, boasts a captivating history that traces its roots back to the 14th century. The earliest available records, dating from the 16th century, identify it as "the gentry townhouse," an abode of noblemen and magnate families. Among its esteemed early owners was Prospero Provano, an Italian courtier of Queen Bona Sforza. During the reign of King Sigismund Augustus, Provano played a pivotal role as an agent of the royal family, overseeing rich salt mines and heading the Polish Mail Service from Krakow to Italy

The Provano family held sway over the townhouse until 1584, at which point it transitioned into the possession of town councillors. The early 19th century witnessed a transformative renovation, giving rise to a French-style edifice with neoclassical elements. The front door's Renaissance portal, adorned with columns and a Latin adage, became a visual testament to the building's historical significance.

The hotel's popularity soared in the 19th century, attracting illustrious guests such as Tsar Alexander I of Russia, Grand Duke Constantine Romanov, and Persian emissary Mohamed Riza. During the War of the Third Coalition in 1805, Russian troops, including those commanded by Grand Duke Constantine Romanov, marched through Krakow, leaving an indelible mark on the hotel. A month later, after the Battle of Austerlitz, Tsar Alexander I himself spent the night, prompting a name change to the "Hotel de Russia."

As the 19th century progressed, the hotel thrived, boasting a ballroom and a restaurant that contributed to its reputation as a first-class establishment. Eminent guests like Franz Liszt graced its halls, solidifying its status as a cultural and social hub in Krakow.

Post-World War I, as Poland regained independence in 1918, the hotel changed hands multiple times. World War II brought German occupation, transforming the establishment into a residence for occupying army officials. After the war, the hotel struggled to reclaim its former glory, serving as private apartments before falling under state control during the communist era in 1950. A subsequent closure in 1970 marked a decade of dormancy.

The late 20th century brought a renaissance for the hotel, with extensive renovations, the discovery of historic elements in the cellars, and the establishment of a renowned art gallery in 1988. In 1994, the Likus brothers assumed ownership, embarking on a mission to restore the palace to its former splendor.

In 2020, the hotel underwent a comprehensive renovation, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity. With 56 rooms, including eleven suites, Hotel Pod Ró?? remains a living testament to Krakow's history, offering guests an immersive and unforgettable experience in the oldest hotel in the city.

Jets and lights are adjusted to different temperatures and colours to achieve targeted firming, toning and circulatory stimulation effects.

Let us explore the noteworthy benefits presented by these highly sophisticated machines, placing a central emphasis on the emotional benefits. The provided experience immerses individuals in a delightfully immersive journey, rendering it one of the most enjoyable experiences within a spa setting.

Additionally, we should not disregard the array of positive effects:

Muscular System: The horizontal shower, boasting numerous electronically programmed water jets, employs a unique water spraying technique that subtly stimulates and tones tissues, inducing a state of deep relaxation. Water jets follow varying sequences, intensities, and temperatures, facilitating a comprehensive interaction with every part of the body.

Nervous System: A synergy of colors, aromas, and melodies, combined with the water massage, subtly amplifies the benefits on the nervous system, fostering mental well-being, emotional equilibrium, and an overall sense of positivity.

Cellular Regeneration: The rapid cell regeneration process detoxifies and oxygenates tissues, with purifying effects beneath the skin's surface, resulting in a holistic anti-aging action.

Neuro-Vegetative System: Each jet provides an intense yet soothing micro-massage to the skin's subtle reflexes, stimulating the neuro-vegetative system and releasing tension in nerve endings. This process enables the body and mind to relax and realign, effectively regenerating the entire organism—an efficient de-stress action that rivals manual massages.

Lymphatic System: In addition to massaging, water pressure subtly stimulates lymphatic circulation, enhances tissue oxygenation, drains excess fluids, and facilitates the elimination of toxins. Consequently, this alleviates leg discomfort, promotes a feeling of lightness, and counteracts the effects of cellulite.

Two different types of jet, carefully positioned to recreate pleasant sequences and sensations of massage.

A wave of water runs through the body to stimulate each area as it would an experienced masseur, 4 different programs with sequences and different temperatures to stimulate or relax the whole body.
