All very valid points and nice article Anna. I feel our Supply Chain has very solid supplier partnerships, but we were single sourced on many items and that is not going to be our norm going forward. Agility and consistent inventory supply has been two very important factors for us in this new norm.

While I agree that supply chain disruptions are likely to continue for some time and that business leaders should prioritise agility and responsiveness to stay competitive, I don't think that in some cases low-cost production and offshoring should necessarily take a backseat.

#2 Relationships is key Anna McGovern, CPIM, CSCP. We cannot continue the adversarial relationships with suppliers like in the past. Both sides need to understand each other's vulnerability and figure out a win/win scenario.
