2024 ended with one of our favorite events of the year! It was an honor to be part of the NWSL's Beyond the Field kickoff in Kansas City during Championship Weekend! Through our partnership with the league, we're excited to assist athletes with their post-playing career transitions and support their success both on and off the pitch.?

?You can read more here, plus stay tuned for more exciting announcements and content coming soon!?

We are so excited to highlight Elise Vue , the co-founder and Director of Marketing and Community Outreach for Play Gap. Learn more about her role and the organization here:

Favorite part of the job:

“I love meeting people across the country who have the same passion for sports and women's empowerment. It's like this immediate connection where we can share our unique stories, regardless of the sport, and already understand each other.”

?

Hobbies and passions (outside of changing the sports world):?

?? ?“When I'm not doing my 9-5 job or working with Play Gap, I love spending time outside with my wife and our dog, watching women's basketball, or trying a new craft.”?

?

Elise's top piece of advice for aspiring sports industry professionals:?

“Don't be afraid to explore roles in more non-traditional sports or industries. There are tons of people seeking jobs in the most well-known consumer companies, so there's an opportunity to stand out when applying to smaller organizations, where you'll ultimately be able to make more of an impact.”

Favorite part of the job:

“Since I work full-time at UNICEF USA & part-time with the 76ers, the commonality between both jobs that I love is the impact on children, people and fans I make, whether its through collaborations with athletes/teams at UUSA or by getting fans involved in the game at 76ers, leaving a lasting memory for them is always what sticks with me.”

Join our friends at Women in Soccer for their annual Career Fair on February 11-12. This free virtual career fair is the only industry event designed to provide a competitive advantage for women and people with underrepresented gender identities who want to work in soccer. Attendees will learn from leading professionals across the industry and connect with over 50 soccer organizations that are hiring. Save your spot today - spaces are limited.?
