Important Industry Updates:

• Würth Elektronik Group has introduced a new defined electrical property for its #molded inductors, enhancing their performance in power electronics applications. This development is crucial for devices operating in high-frequency environments, providing improved efficiency and reliability. The inductors now feature a specified saturation current, ensuring consistent performance and protecting sensitive circuits from overcurrent conditions. These #SMT-mountable inductors are ideal for use in #DC-DC converters, power supplies, and #EMI filtering, offering robust performance in a compact form factor.

• Würth Elektronik Group expands its optocoupler series with Opto-TRIACs. It offers a solution for phase control of #AC loads, the new WL-OCTR optocouplers, a safe alternative to mechanical relays. The #TRIAC optocouplers are particularly suitable for use in lamp dimming functions and AC motor drivers in household appliances. They can also be used as drivers for high-current TRIACs.
