An elegant Hampshire hotel located just minutes from the M3. Perfect for events outside of London.

I recently met up with Kiran at Audleys Wood Hotel, Basingstoke for dinner and a show-around of the venue. It is a former Victorian country mansion which is now best known for its meeting space and 72 bedrooms.

This 4 star property has 4 meeting rooms inside the main house, two of which have a maximum capacity of 32 cabaret. Within the grounds there is a permanent self-contained marquee known as the ‘Garden Pavilion,’ which has a max capacity of 200 theatre style or for a dinner. The windows are double glazed and the marquee has air conditioning so can be kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It has offers meeting equipment such as Wifi, PA System etc and a dedicated kitchen. The Marquee also comes with outside patio space, ideal for BBQ’s and summer drinks receptions. The rest of the grounds can also be used for team building activities.

There is a 2 rosette Conservatory Restaurant in the main house where I enjoyed dinner. The hotel is easily accessible, just 5 minutes from the M3 and with ample parking. It’s a great location for those wishing to hold an event outside of London but not in the middle of nowehere.
