The choice of diamond is also crucial. Cutting different materials requires different qualities of diamonds to match. If the cutting requires a higher degree of smoothness, a rounder shaped diamond with fewer sharp edges is generally chosen. If the cutting efficiency is the first to considerate, a sharp diamond will be a better choice.
