Electronic passenger information display repairs

We feel very pleased at Greasley Electronics to have received a glowing testimonial from a manufacturer based in the East Midlands. They manufacture a wide range of electronic passenger information displays for transport sectors that include rail, bus, tram, urban signage, roadside and airports.

Having personal knowledge of Greasley Electronics and capabilities over a number of years, I was able to recommend we approach them to address a specific parts change requirement where the rework profile and volume was not compatible with our current operations.

After their initial evaluation of the task with samples to agree a sustainable costing, we then proceeded to supply up to 200 further circuits to work through. This sustained our display manufacture and ensured on time delivery of equipment for a number of important high value client projects.

At all times, we were kept informed of progress and all targets were managed to align with, or exceed our expectations. All the returned circuits were well protected, accompanied by clear documentation and worked perfectly when put back into service.

Another recent project required the harvesting of several thousand discontinued parts from salvaged circuits, to support a legacy product dating back over 10 years. Again, Greasley Electronics took great care to clearly understand the requirement and returned both harvested parts and the donor circuits well protected, in good condition and within the expected delivery time.

In all, we have received a high quality and cost effective service, which has served to limit the impact of unplanned rework on our production capacity and normal business throughout.
