ELECTRONIC BIKE SIDE MIRROR WITH BUMB DETECTION

Road bumps are one of the main problems. In several cases bump will be noticed suddenly while riding. Several accidents happen due to a sudden application of brake by the rider. This project proposed an electronic mirror with two cameras, one to detect the bump and give the warning signal to the rider and the other camera to detect the following vehicle and show the side mirror in 150 degree view. Raspberry pi system and corresponding algorithm will detect the bump and following vehicles and display in the side mirror. Thus the rider can easily view back side more than 150 degrees and also get bump alert signal so that accidents can be reduced.
