Electrical Contractor EIG Leverages Offsight Across Factories
Offsight?customer?Evergreen Innovation Group (EIG), leverages?prefabricationto accelerate project speed to market while maintaining efficiency, schedule control and flexibility. To do so they manufacture engineered-to-order modular electrical rooms and skids. When projects require an accelerated schedule the team leverages their prefab facilities in Texas and North Carolina shipping sub-assemblies to these locations for final assembly.
EIG has paired their cutting edge technology and prefab process with Offsight’s?Production & Quality Tracking,?Reporting & Auditing?and?Materials & Inventory Management?feature sets to allow for cross factory collaboration with production tracking to fully manage their offsite construction projects.?
Collaborating & Coordinating Prefab Across Factories
With Offsight’s?Production & Quality Tracking?capabilities, EIG’s prefab team can coordinate subassembly and fabrication across their multiple factories. Project managers and operational leads can live track as subassemblies, including panels, as they are completed at multiple locations. All quality documentation, sign-offs and photo verification can be recorded via?Offsight’s mobile app?and reviewed before panels and subassemblies arrive at the final assembly site.

Accessing Dynamic Shop Drawings & Work Instructions
?Through Offsight, operators at EIG can access shop drawings and work instructions that are specific to the module or panel subassembly they are working on and the corresponding process or work station in the factory. Offsight’s dynamic file management workflows and APIs pull live updates from drawings, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other documentation in real-time and automatically link these with specific products and processes that are live on the factory floor. This way operators at EIG can focus on assembly and know for certain these documents are always referencing the latest designs.
Managing Real Time Material Consumption for An ETO Process
With Offsight’s?Materials & Inventory Management?toolset, EIG can define a specific bill of materials (BOMs) for each design. These BOMs can be customized to the individual product level where specific modules or panel subassemblies have differing and unique material requirements. By leveraging this level of project or design specific customization, EIG is able to closely match their engineered-to-order (ETO) process with their workflow in Offsight. Furthermore, they can create specific picklists for each product by workstation to allow operators to easily track material consumption from Offsight’s mobile app. ??
