Elections for the Worldwide Airport Coordinators Group (WWACG) Board

During its General Assembly meeting that took place on November 11th, 2019 in Brisbane the WorldWide Airport Coordinators Group elected its new Board and Officers:

• Mr Eric Herbane, COHOR, France: Chairman
• Mrs Petra Popovac, ACA, Australia: Vice-Chairman
• Mr Wolfgang Gallistl, SCA, Austria: Vice-Chairman and Treasurer
• Mr Fred Andreas Wister, SCN, Norway: Corporate Secretary
• Mr Hiroki Takeda, JSC, Japan
• Mr Brian Meehan, FAA Runways, United States of America
• Mr Edmond Rose, ACL, United Kingdom

The General Assembly also decided to extend the WWACG Board term from 2 to 3 years in order to match the newly created WorldWide Airport Slot Board (WASB) term since WWACG Board members will represent the worldwide Airport coordinator and schedule facilitator community at the WASB.

WASB is composed of 7 representatives of the Airport community appointed by ACI-World, 7 representatives of airlines appointed by IATA and the 7 coordinators/schedules facilitators elected by WWACG Members. This new joint Industry Partners body will be in charge of the WorldWide Airport Slot Guidelines (WASG) in order to deliver modern and efficient airport slot policy and process elaborated by the whole Industry.

WWACG also appointed 3 coordinators to serve jointly with IATA and ACI-World slot teams as WorldWide Airport Slot Board Secretariat:

• Mr Didier Hocq, BSC, Belgium
• Mr Rene Maysokolua, FLUKO, Germany
