With the majority of votes tabulated, it appears that I will finish 3rd out of 8 candidates. The results were not what we had hoped. While I'm incredibly disappointed, I'm so thankful for everything that's happened. Our campaign got people excited to engage in politics and brought new energy to a movement that values freedom, opportunity, and personal responsibility.

We didn't run a negatively messaged campaign. We didn't go into massive debt. We kept our campaign positive and inviting while garnering incredible support from leaders around the country.

To my endorsers, elected officials, and Republican leadership: I know you took a chance on an unknown name, competing with 7 other candidates in a tough, D+10 district. Thank you for coming off the sidelines and getting involved pre-primary. Your support of a new generation of leadership in the Republican party encourages others like me to get involved and run. I will always be grateful for the early support.

To my campaign leadership team: Robert, Greg, Tim, Charles, Brittany, Peter, Brandon, Gleaves, Chris, Amanda, Shelby, Chad, Parks, thank you for holding the hand of a first-time political novice and believing that I was a formidable enough candidate who could jump into the fray of a federal race... and actually have a fighting chance. There is so much behind the scenes work that the public will never know about. You all made this experience as enjoyable as it could be due to your professionalism and care. I learned so much from all of you and couldn't have asked for a better campaign team.

To my business partners and staff: Thank you for your patience these past 10 months. You knew how important this was to me and you all stepped up to pick up the slack while I was physically away campaigning in rural Nevada or hunkered down doing my daily rounds of calls. I have learned so much through this process and look forward to bringing that knowledge to our endeavors.

To my parents, Cory and dear friends aka #TeamLisa: Thank you for always believing in me and encouraging me to take on any goal I have. Whether it's starting a new business or running for Congress, your faith in my abilities is the foundation of everything I have built. Without your love and support, I would have never made it through the hard days of this campaign amidst the occasional drama and negativity.

To my supporters and fellow Nevadans: Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be your candidate of choice in this campaign for Congress. Please do not be discouraged by the outcome. Good work was done here and a foundation has been built. Your support is not in vain. I will always be a vocal advocate for our liberties and our 2nd Amendment right. People are waking up. You'll be hearing a lot more from me and I look forward to staying connected.

To anyone thinking of running for office: DO IT. Get involved. If you have built a successful business, you have the grit it takes to persevere and stick to your beliefs. This process is no different. The private sector, young people, minorities, small business owners, and GOP women are coming off the sidelines. It will take 100 of us to step up, for 1 of us to get through.

Finally, I'm always here as a resource. I have learned through this process the importance of activism and encouraging involvement. I have already been asked by many to share my experiences from these past 10 months. I will do so and hope that it provides knowledge and actionable advice for anyone curious about this process.
