This election is a clear choice

This election is a clear choice

I love this country and I love Australians.

And more than ever, I am optimistic about our future and what Australians can achieve.

Because despite the very real difficulties we’ve faced – and the setbacks we’ve had – Australia, and Australians, have shown what we can overcome.

By working together, we avoided the nightmare scenario many countries faced.

Unemployment was predicted to reach 15%, but it is now just 4% – the equal lowest level in 48 years.

On almost any measure – fatality rates, vaccine rates, economic growth, jobs growth, or debt levels – Australia’s recovery is leading the world.

But we’re not out of the woods. There is still a lot of uncertainty ahead.

This election is a choice.

A choice between a strong economy and a Labor Opposition that would weaken it.

A choice between responsible financial management that has delivered the biggest Budget turnaround in 70 years, and a Labor Opposition that you know can’t manage money.

A choice between an economic plan that will deliver the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years and a Labor Opposition with a track record of higher unemployment, higher interest rates and higher electricity prices.

A choice between a Government that believes in – and has delivered – lower taxes and a Labor Opposition that you know can never resist increasing your taxes.

A choice between a strong and tested Government team that can make tough decisions in tough times, or an unproven Labor Opposition that is so focused on politics, they no longer know who they are and what they stand for.

It’s a choice between a strong future and an uncertain one.

A choice between a Government you know and a Labor Opposition you don’t.

Our Government is not perfect. But we have been upfront. You know what we stand for, you can see our record of delivery, and you can see our plan for the future.?

Our plan will deliver more and better jobs and the lowest unemployment in nearly 50 years.

Our plan delivers tax relief for workers and small businesses, to help you get ahead.

Our plan invests in roads, rail, dams and renewable energy technology to build our future.

With a strong economy, our plan invests at record levels in the health and other services you rely on.

Our plan continues to invest in stronger defence, security and borders.?

We’re dealing with a world that is less stable than at any time since the Second World War.

Our economy has a lot of moving parts, and risks, but also many opportunities.

Now is not the time to risk it.

Only by voting for the Liberals or Nationals at the election on 21 May, can you ensure a strong economy and a stronger future.

In this election can we focus on the strength & detail of policies that will make our lives better & not on human weaknesses, character assignations & missteps as the latter are inevitable…..because we’re all human. Lastly, protecting our sovereignty & democracy is paramount to a sustainable future for all Australians. Australia cannot compete financially with China’s Belt & Road & shouldn’t try, don’t abandon our Pacific family but spend large on building a fortress at home financially politically & culturally together with our allies. Small Pacific countries are therefore soft targets to a China that doesn’t play by the rules. Solomon Islands was always going to sacrifice its own sovereignty to China’s foreign policy of interference regardless of what Australia thinks….’ no such thing as a free lunch ‘ any more ! First step in response to the Solomon Island security agreement with China is take back the Darwin Port on grounds the Solomon Island agreement has the potential to threaten our national security….do it now !

There is always a yin and yang for everything we do in our life. Some people support and some people don't. Just do what is right for your citizens and everything will be all right. Cheers for the good job you have done and all the best for the rest of the improvements to achieve!

Not while politicians continue to look after themselves and mates first. Followed closely by Government officials & agencies! Just look at the huge bearing on tax payers $$$$$ it has become. Over charging rorts, commissions, under the table deals, institutions owned by major parties and politucal individual's reaping the benefits! All the while those who need the support and backing fight daily to get basics for daily living. This stronger economy leads to taxonomy benefiting only those at the top as always remove the Rose coloured glasses Scott Morrison and the blinkers
