May 29, 2017- Nothing has changed, since last update April 28, 2017. Recent found knowledge in law is expected to ensure Migdalia's best interest to be part of initiatives public officials, judicial system, and law enforcement. More to follow.

April 28, 2017- To date, NEWARK officials have done nothing to remedy situation of Migdalia having been exploited, resulting in Victimizers continuing to benefit themselves. To date, no official has followed up with son, nor have made to remedy the situation of ELDERLY ABUSE VICTIM, residing in the NORTH WARD, CITY OF NEWARK. 

July 12, 2016 (on or about)- Son found himself defending against false allegations of two victimizers whom had Temporary Restraining Order given to him. In this hearing, Judge dismissed TRO and filing for Restraining Order that would have son unable to contact his mother, after Victimizers unable to prove their false allegations. Judge suggested CAUTION to be used, to son, prior his making other visits to see his mother. Newark Police had accompanied son to do WELLNESS CHECKS prior refusing to accompany son during a visit on or about May 2016. It was this visit, with NEWARK PLOICE not present, that Victimizers used to make false allegations against Victim's son, that resulted in a Temporary Restraining Order issued to son. To date, no official has followed up with son, nor have made to remedy the situation of ELDERLY ABUSE VICTIM, residing in the NORTH WARD of CITY OF NEWARK. 

July 9, 2016- No follow up call received from Councilman Carlos Gonzalez's office, nor Councilmen Luis Quintana, nor Anibal Ramos, Jr. whom received my name and number through their aides over a week ago, NOR RAUL MALAVE.

July 5, 2016- Today is when City of Newark Director of Public Safety Raul Malave is expected to reach out to me on matter of Elderly Abuse victim Migdalia Llerena, after Councilman Carlos Gonzalez contacted me July 2, 2016, and his aide Stephanie received over 180 pages including ELDERLY ABUSE COMPLAINT with DISCOVERY. One of Migdalia's two children, seeking to protect Migdalia against victimizers, will be defending self in court next week, after a false charge filed that makes obvious criminal intent of victimizers, including unlawfully taking possession of Ridge Street residence from Elderly Abuse victim Migdalia, whom after made to suffer emotionally, psychologically and physically by victimizers, under DURESS, will lose her property as Migdalia continues to be deprived by victimizers to qualify for MEDICARE, and have separated Migdalia from two grand daughters, and two great grand children, and from one of her two children.   

July 1, 2016- Councilman Carlos Gonzalez of three Councilmen I left message to call me, set aside time and called me back today when not in his office. His aide Stephanie has received over 180 pages that includes a statement, brief, history, laws violated, and discovery, that was being held by Juana Watson, Aide of Councilman Luis Quintana, was handed to Councilman Carlos Gonzalez's aide Stephanie, whom told me that she was to contact City of Newark Director of Public Safety Raul Malave today, and that I could expect to receive call by Tuesday (July 5, 2016) from him, because today was a short day and Monday a holiday.

On June 29, 2016, Newark NJ City Hall visited and offices of Councilmen Anibal Ramos (also Essex County Dir. of Citizen Services), Luis Quintana, and Carlos Gonzalez, all received my name and number to call me back about Elderly person subject of ELDERLY ABUSE.

Newark Police Lincoln Avenue precinct refused to accept my typed statement for filing a complaint they have not wanted to do since April 2016, during my multiple visits. In one wellness check of this subject, bruises could be seen on her face, and Newark Police did not think to use that as a sign of probable abuse. With High Blood Pressure in one wellness check, subject taken to Saint Michael's Hospital in Newark, NJ, where the staff has a relationship with one of the abusers, working there over 30 years... And as they claim when Elderly person in subject of the matter visits, found nothing. Not same was in Elderly person visiting Immedicare Center in Kearny, NJ (medication mix found improper), when taken to University Hospital in Newark, NJ, to Saint Barnabas in West Orange, NJ and in Clara Maas in Belleville, NJ.

Recently, June 28, 2016, Family Court Judge received three copies of the Elderly Person claim report, complete with DISCOVERY. DISCOVERY shows one of the victimizers having signed over DEED of Migdalia, to self for a $1.00, and reverting property back to Migdalia with a DEED that voided Migdalia's WILL, having Migdalia's house on Ridge Street belonging solely to victimizer. Sad is, victimizer (with other victimizers) today, still interested in VICTIM'S Ridge Street Newark, NJ residence, using Migdalia's credit, Pension, Social Security, equity of Ridge Street residence, to purchase property, cars, and take vacations, over having Migdalia qualifying for MEDICARE for all of her medical and well being needs, including making VICTIM'S Ridge Street residence handicap accessible, and providing a CARE GIVER. Victimizers abandoned and neglected Migdalia, and currently have her restricted from visiting her primary residence on Ridge Street, Newark, NJ, where she resided from on or about 1980, through May 2016, when lured into residence VICTIMIZERS claim soley their own, on Clifton Avenue in Newark, NJ, subjected to emotional and psychological abuse, and in frail health and no command of the English language, coerced through fear after victimizers neglecting and abandoning Migdalia, after taking some falls that had her wait days until Migdalia requested from other than victimizers, to be taken to hospital. In one instance, one of the victimizers had discovered at doctor visit with Migdalia, that Migdalia had a UTI, and instead of requesting antibiotics, subjected Migdalia to enduring pain of UTI and expected Migdalia to drink water to rid herself of UTI, knowing Migdalia not wanting to drink water during this time period. In Clara Maas Hospital visit, staff put Migdalia on IV due to her being dehydrated, and it was suspected that UTI was most likely reason for her falls.  

Newark Municipal Court saw the report when complaint being filed, and it is to be included as part of the Charges recently filed against one of the abusers, with other Criminal and Civil Charges pending.

In the meantime, Essex County Executive Office received copy of complaint, as did Essex County Executive Assitant, Prosecutor's Office, Special Crimes Unit, Newark FOCUS Multipurpose Center (ELDERLY ABUSE PROTECTIVE SERVICES), filed some weeks ago together with NEWARK POLICE LINCOLN AVENUE PRECINCT, receiving same via fax and some also received additional copies by mail. Since this time, the NEWARK POLICE officer whom had assisted son with this more often than not circumstance with ELDERLY, happening in Newark, (New Jersey, and NATIONWIDE), was promoted, and not seen present by VICTIM'S son during his police precinct visits of May 2016 and dates after.

The picture appearing in this post, is that of Migdalia, 89 years old, unable to defend herself with frail health, and no command of English language, subject of PSYCHOLOGICAL and EMOTIONAL ABUSE, lured into VICTIMIZERS' claimed own residence of Clifton Avenue, in Newark, NJ 07104, Migdalia taken there from Saint Michael's Hospital on May 21, 2016, by her grand daughter, and not to her Ridge Street, Newark, NJ 07104 residence, where she requested of her GRAND DAUGHTER to be taken, while in Emergency Room of St. Michael's Hospital, with WITNESSES present.   Neglected and abandoned, Migdalia suffered many falls in her home, and VICTIMIZERS (abusers) did not ensure Migdalia's well being, not providing Migdalia medical attention after many of the falls.

This is not a nice story, not an uplifting one, but a real one, that many ELDERLY ABUSE VICTIMS and their loved ones live, because of a family member's GREED, belief of SELF ENTITLEMENT, and many today in 2016, may not be receiving assistance they need, and/or not have any idea, to resolve the ELDERLY ABUSE VICTIM'S circumstance.

As I wait for court date to litigate against one of the abusers, today, I wait for return calls from the Councilmen, I left my name and number with their aides, to provide me assistance with the start of an ELDERLY ABUSE case of 30+ year Newark resident Migdalia, whose picture appears above. Taken after her claiming took a fall, she was in St. Michael's Medical Center Emergency Room, twitching, when the picture was taken.
