EKA Mobility Partners with KPIT Technologies to Develop Powertrain Components for E-Buses; Hyundai CRETA Electric Drives Record Sales and More...

EKA Mobility has announced a strategic alliance with KPIT Technologies to innovate powertrain components for electric buses and commercial vehicles. The collaboration aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce ownership costs for electric vehicles.


Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has achieved a significant milestone with its total sales reaching 65,603 units in January 2025. This includes 54,003 units in domestic sales and 11,600 units in exports. The launch of the Hyundai CRETA Electric has played a crucial role in boosting brand CRETA’s sales, which recorded its highest-ever domestic monthly figure of 18,522 units.


The global wireless electric vehicle (EV) charging market is set for exponential growth, projected to expand from $0.466 billion in 2023 to $12.4 billion by 2033, registering an impressive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 38.6%, according to a new report by Allied Market Research.
