EJBTalks is back!
For our 30th anniversary, we are welcoming alumni as guests for #EJBTalks! Our first alumna is Stefania Davia EJB '11 (Public Health), who talks to Stuart Shapiro about her exciting career path around the world from her time as a student in Nicaragua to her position with the World Food Programme's HIV and nutrition unit in Italy, to three years working in Lesotho in Africa working on population-based HIV impact assessment. They discuss the #COVID pandemic and how it impacted her current position with the World Health Organization (WHO) (WHO) European regional office, and what lessons can be learned to improve the use of #data in crafting national and #global responses to future #publichealth challenges. Stefania closes out the discussion with the #positive impacts the #education and the atmosphere at Rutgers University—New Brunswick Rutgers University had on her career from its beginning to today.
